Indian interior postcard in light blue, dated 25 February 1945, franked with a violet 35 annas stamp featuring the effigy of the Indian Republic. The reverse has an inscription in Hindi and English: 'Untouchability is a crime against God and man', accompanied by an image of Gandhi. The handwritten address is directed to the Secretary of the Institution of Engineers of India in Calcutta. The cancellation from Dharan, Bihar, indicates the date and place of mailing.
