Indian interior postcard dated around 1940, intended for the Institution of Engineers in Calcutta, with a membership application for a non-diplomatic degree. The reverse side features the recipient's address, the recipient's name C.K. Bramanick in Madras, and a violet stamp with the portrait of Gandhi. The reverse also displays the inscription 'IN TOUCHABILITY IS A CRIME AGAINST GOD AND MAN'.
