Indian interior postcard dated around 1950, addressed to the Secretary of the Institute of Engineers (India) in Calcutta. The back bears the recipient's address, Ramesh Chandras Sharma in Purnaund Shahr (U.P.), and a 35 annas postage stamp with cancellation from Shahrā. A postmark from Lucknow (Delhi) and a Hindi inscription on the back: 'THE UNTOUCHABILITY IS A CRIME AGAINST GOD AND MAN'.
