Indian interior postcard in pale blue, franked with a violet 35 annas stamp featuring the effigy of Garuda. The handwritten address is intended for the Secretariat of the Institute of Engineers of Calcutta (AMIE). The reverse bears an inscription in English and Hindi: 'Untouchability is a crime against God and man', as well as a circular postmark with a portrait of Gandhi.
