Indian interior postcard from 1983, intended for the Institute of Engineers in Calcutta, franked with a violet 35 annas stamp. The reverse shows a circular postmark from Calcutta dated 1983 and an inscription in Hindi and English condemning untouchability as a crime against God and humanity. A brown stain is visible at the bottom right.
