Photograph of a richly carved ivory gospel chair from the 11th century, located in the Kaiser-Dom of Aachen. The reverse indicates that it was presented by Emperor Henry II and adorned with six ivory sculptures and various crystal cuttings. The publisher is Adolf Buech, with the serial number F 75/6.
