Interior of the Basilica Notre-Dame d'Afrique in Algiers, showing the central altar adorned with flags and a large fresco above depicting religious figures. The printed text at the bottom of the front indicates 'Notre-Dame d'Afrique. Pray for us and for the Muslims'. The reverse has handwritten text dated 1934, addressed to Thérèse, Eugène and Odile, and mentions that the basilica is the only one in Marseille where N.D. de la Garde is represented.
