Black and white view of a basilica perched on a hill above a village, with a lake in the foreground and snow-capped mountains in the background. The reverse has a handwritten inscription: 'Kisses from a little girl in Anneycy', addressed to Madame Cardet in Chichey (Seine), with a 12-centime stamp and a postmark of 9 August 1955 from Anneycy.
