Portrait of a woman in Arlesian costume, with embroidered white collar and decorated hat, on a neutral background. Printed text at the bottom: '26. — Arlésienne. Déposé. Edition Marcheteau, Arles.' On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to 'Madame Sadoul, En Gave à Soubarett, Cantal'. Green 5-centime French Republic stamp, canceled with a circular postmark of 'ARLES' dated 30.07.1901.
