Description

View of Auxerre's clock from the west, framed by two rows of houses. Printed text at the bottom: 'It is viewed from the west side in the narrowing of the two rows of houses that lead to it. One regrets that this beautiful building, well restored, is not highlighted by a clear space that would emphasize its grandeur and fine arrangement.' On the reverse: handwritten address to Madame A. Chaignot in Boulogne-sur-Seine, dated 30/12/1910, green 5c stamp and postmark 'AUXERRE NE'.
