View of the Tour de l'Horloge in Auxerre, with a sign 'AUSSURES GRANDS MAGASINS' at the bottom left. Reverse: handwritten letter dated 26 July 1901, addressed to 'Chère Marie-Thérèse', signed 'Méméty'. Postmark of 10 centimes and cancellation stamp from Auxerre.
