Interior of the great hall of the Hôtel-Dieu in Beaune, 72 meters long, with rows of chairs and a wooden vaulted ceiling. Reverse: printed text indicating the hall's dimensions, a handwritten letter dated August 13, 1952 addressed to Pierreffette (Léine), 12 franc stamp, postmark 'BEAUNE (Côte d'Or)' and stamp 'POSTE D'ORNE'.
