Illustration of the astronomical clock in Besançon, commissioned by Cardinal Mathieu, designed in 1858 and completed in August 1860, composed of 72 dials and measuring 5m80 in height. Printed text mentions its reorganization in 1900 by M. Florian Goudey. On the back, publisher: Établissements C. Larrier - Besançon, with partially visible postmark and cancellation.
