Black and white panoramic view of Île Maîpas in Besançon, with the river and houses in the foreground, framed by wooded hills. On the reverse, a postcard dated July 18, 1908, sent to Madame Berth Desroy in Paris, with two 5-centime stamps and a postmark from Besançon.
