Description

Detailed illustration of Besançon's astronomical clock, showing a left-side view and a right-side view. The text indicates that it is the most wonderful piece of modern mechanics, given by Cardinal Mathieu, reorganized in 1900 by Florian Goudy, with 72 dials and 122 indications. On the reverse, the card bears the inscription 'Phototypie Lescuyer, Lyon' and a handwritten date: 'Albyamp D. 14 October 1934'.
