Description

Historical view of Beaugency in the 18th century, depicting the fortified town with its castle and Caesar's tower, reflected in the water. Printed text recalls its military history: captured by the Huns in 451, the Saxons in 840, the Normans in 854, the English in 1367 and 1414, and recaptured by Joan of Arc in 1429. Reverse: blank postcard with space for correspondence and address.
