View of the Roman ruins of the Palais Gallien in Bordeaux, dating from the 3rd century, with arches and stone walls partially covered in vegetation. On the reverse, a French postcard stamped with 10 centimes, with handwritten text addressed to Monsieur Luc Leriche in Paris, and a postmark from Mondou (33) dated July 25, 1933.
