View of the castle of Brest from the harbor, with its fortifications and surrounding wall overlooking the water. On the reverse, a postcard sent to Edouard Guillard in Quimper, with a 10-centime stamp and a Brest cancellation of August 22, 1908. The handwritten message expresses the anticipation of a cousin.
