Description

Panoramic view of Briançon, with the fortress perched on a rocky promontory and a church with spires in the foreground, surrounded by houses and vegetation. On the back, a handwritten letter dated November 15, 1932, addressed to 'My dear Odette', describing the village as 'a too-often-seen setting' and mentioning snow and cold. The publisher is L. Francou, collection 'Les Hautes Alpes'.
