View of Brussels City Hall, whose first stone was laid in 1402, with the Gothic tower by Jean de Ruysbroeck (1449) and the restored spire by Martin de Rhode (1455). The reverse indicates that the official Brussels Commercial Fair takes place every year in April, and mentions the publisher E. Desaix, Brussels, with a photographer's postmark.
