Description

Aerial view of the armistice crossroads in Compiègne, with a crowd gathered around a central monument and cross-shaped flower beds. The reverse has a handwritten address to Mme Portal in Clémont-sur-Saône, a violet 25-centime stamp, and a postmark from Compiègne dated August 7, 1918.
