Statue of Notre-Dame under the Ground inside the Chartres Cathedral, with the inscription 'NÔTRE-DAME SOUS TERRE' at the bottom. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 7, 1913, addressed to a Madame, requesting a recommendation for a rental in Chartres. French 10-centime postmark canceled.
