Black and white view of the Aiguille du Dru, a snow-capped Alpine summit, with rocky slopes and glaciers. Printed text at the bottom: 'CHAMONIX — AIGUILLE DU DRU PHOTO MONNIER'. Reverse: handwritten text dated July 19, 1927, sent from Chamonix to Madame Bouffy in Charleville, with a 30-centime blue stamp and a postmark from Grenoble.
