View of the canal and aqueduct of the Château de Maintenon, with inscription detailing its construction in 1684 and its interruption during the war of 1688. Reverse: handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame Mary Marical in Bolbec, with a 1907 postmark and a Paris 12 May 1907 postmark.
