Perspective view of the Roman aqueduct of Maintenon, partially covered with vegetation, with a winding road below. The reverse bears a handwritten letter dated July 8, 1917, addressed to Madame Cavallotti in Paris, with a 15-centime green stamp and a postmark from Clichy-sur-Seine.
