Description

View of the Prefecture in Chaumont, an imposing stone building with slate roofs and ornate window frames, framed by a metal grille. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated March 1, 1918, addressed to 'Chère Annè', expressing memories and worries related to the war. The reverse also features the typewritten inscriptions 'CORRESPONDANCE' and 'CARTE POSTALE'.
