Description

Black and white view of the Romanesque church of Saint-Pierre-les-Églises in Chauvigny, with its slate-roofed bell tower and enclosed courtyard surrounded by cypresses. The reverse indicates it is a photographic reproduction, with a handwritten description mentioning the 11th-century frescoes and an address to Caudry. French Republic postal stamp (1960) canceled in Chauvigny.
