Description

Black and white view of a Romanesque church with a slate-roofed bell tower, surrounded by a cemetery and cypresses. On the reverse, printed text describing the church as the oldest in Poitou and one of the oldest in France, with 11th-century frescoes. French postal stamp from 1966, cancellation 'Chauvigny', recipient in Caudry. Handwritten signature of the sender.
