Description

Black and white view of a chalet-hotel at the foot of the Cirque de Saint-Même, at an altitude of 840 m, with an imposing rocky summit in the background. The reverse has a handwritten inscription 'On a walk in the lower valleys' and the recipient's address in Guiers (Savoie), with a 50-centime French postage stamp and a cancellation stamp from Saint-Pierre-de-Savoye dated June 1st, 1930.
