View of the Avenue des Beaux-Monts in Compiègne, with two monumental statues on pedestals in the center of a wooded park. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 18 March 1914, addressed to Madame Delmoulet de Gabriel, mentioning an awaited arrival from Paris and children. The stamp and cancellation are visible.
