Black and white view of the Grande-Chartreuse convent in Dauphiné, surrounded by forests and buildings with pointed roofs. Printed text at the bottom: '56. DAUPHINÉ — Convent of la Grande-Chartreuse'. Reverse: handwritten message addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Hazillau in Sevailles, dated July 28, 1924, with a convent postmark and a 30-cent French postage stamp.
