Description

Black and white view of the Grand-Cloître of the Grande Chartreuse monastery in Dauphiné, with its Gothic vaults and stone walls. Two monks in monastic robes are visible in the background of the corridor. The reverse has a handwritten address in Lyon, a date of January 1911, and a 5-centime French postage stamp with cancellation.
