Description

Scene at the French-German border in Naney, where a little girl offers flowers to a French soldier near a border post. Two men in military uniforms and a woman in a dark dress stand nearby. The reverse contains a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Bussurel in Héricourt, with a 10-centime postage stamp and a postmark from TROUSSERES (Doubs) dated April 6, 1914.
