Description

Night view of the Douaumont ossuary with its Catholic chapel, built in 1919 through national and international subscription. Printed text in French and English highlighting the simplicity and nobility of the building as a memorial to the heroes of Verdun. On the reverse, a postmark and circular stamp 'OSSUAIRE de DOUAUMONT (Meuse)' with an indication of the printer in Nancy.
