Description

Engraved portrait of the Duchess of Longueville, daughter of Henri II de Bourbon-Condé, born in 1619 at the Château de Vincennes where her father was a prisoner. She married Henri de Longueville in 1642 and was involved in politics until 1635, then retired to the Carmelites of the Saint-Jacques district, where she died in 1679. Reverse: blank postcard with inscription 'This side is exclusively reserved for the address'.
