Description

Black and white view of the royal stalls in the Chapel of the Thistle within St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh, with richly carved decoration and heraldry. The reverse contains printed text describing the stalls, a handwritten address to Nogent-sur-Marne (France), and a red 1d stamp from the 'Inch' series dated 8 March 1912, with cancellation 'EDINBURGH 31-3-12'.
