Description

Four young boys in period costume play a sword duel in front of a forest backdrop. The printed text at the bottom of the front evokes the scene with a poem: 'To the sword!... They examine them closely, AN EARLY DUEL And each of the witnesses assures, Equal chance of success.' The reverse bears a handwritten address in Paris, a red London postage stamp dated July 21, 1903, and the mention 'Series n. 632'.
