Description

View of the Palace of Justice in Évreux, an imposing building with classical architecture and a lamppost visible in the foreground. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'Dear Suzanne' with a mention of the date '2 September 1899'. The recipient's address is 'Mrs. Suzanne, Pré-Saint-Gervais, Paris'. Two green 5-centime stamps are affixed, canceled with a circular postmark 'ÉVREUX 2 SEP 99' and another 'SOISSONS 3 SEP 99'.
