Carnival scene in Falaise where locals, dressed in traditional costumes with pointed hats and lanterns, perform an imitation dialogue on the lantern. Printed text at the bottom: 'The Cars of Falaise and Their Lanterns'. Reverse: handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame M. Rebounet in Marseille, with an address in Paris, and a postmark is not visible but a cancellation is present.
