Portrait of an old Vendean man seated on a stool, wearing a dark coat, white shirt, and wooden shoes, holding a stick. The printed text at the bottom indicates « (4) Old Vendean Peasant ». On the reverse, the card has a handwritten address to Montpellier and a red 10-centime postmark canceled in Montpellier on August 20, 1903, with a postmark from Roches-sur-Loire.
