Description

General view of the Valux Fort, a fortified structure nestled in a rugged rocky landscape, with a small wooden building in the foreground. The reverse has a handwritten address to Griffon, Boulanger, Briollay, as well as a 50-cent French Republic stamp and a cancellation stamp from Verdun dated March 28, 1930.
