View of an ornate fountain with sculptures and lions, located in front of the Palace of Holyrood in Edinburgh. The reverse indicates that the fountain, dating from 1850, imitates the style of a fountain from the Palace of Linlithgow from the 11th century. The publisher is Alex. A. Ingis, Calton Hill, and the postcard is printed in Scotland.
