Description

Black and white view of the Creuse chasm surrounded by forests and rocks. Printed text at the bottom: « The hills have gentle forms, the rocks have from afar this beautiful lilac tone that is particular to the micashists of the Creuse banks ». Reverse: handwritten letter dated September 12, 1926, addressed to « My dear Mother », mentioning the Creuse and the « beautiful landscapes ».
