Description

Black-and-white postcard showing five views of Westcliff-on-Sea: the rock gardens, the bandstand, the swimming bath from the gardens, the shelter and cliff gardens, and the esplanade. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 16 August 1952, sent from Southend-on-Sea, with a 2 shilling stamp and a postmark. The address is directed to 'Madame and Madame G. Hautisean' in Paris.
