Description

Black and white postcard showing five views of Southend-on-Sea: the bandstand, the beach viewed towards the east from the Palace Hotel, the pleasure lake and the Palace Hotel, the lighthouse and the port pavilion, as well as the cascade and the port pavilion. The reverse has handwritten French text dated July 20, 1958, sent from Southend-on-Sea to Paris, with two 2 pence stamps and a postmark from July 20, 1958.
