Black and white portrait of a woman wearing a traditional Norman costume with a white headdress and embroidered scarf, from the first series of authentic and ancient costumes in the D. Louveau collection. Reverse: handwritten sender's inscription 'Marthe Greaux' to 'Mlle Mathilde Roy, Grand-Bourg, Creuse', dated 29 September 1902, with a 5-centime postage stamp and cancellation mark 'Honfleur'.
