Bust portrait of a man wearing glasses and a mustache, decorated with medals, with the inscription 'Jean-Antoine VILLEMIN 1827-1892'. The reverse details his career: anatomopathologist, professor at the École du Val-de-Grâce, and his role in the discovery of the transmissibility of tuberculosis. He died in Paris in 1892 and a monument was erected in his honor in Bruyères.
