View of the Grande Plage at La Bernerie-en-Loire, showing the turn of the beach with bathers and a retaining wall in the background. On the reverse, a postcard sent from Nantes, with a 30-centime stamp and a cancellation from La Bernerie-en-Loire dated 17 April 1938. The address is for M. Eugène Pignon in Noyant-la-Gravoye, and the handwritten message reads: 'Amities de nos jours Lucien'.
