Interior view of the nave of Saint-Martin Church in Langres, showing its barrel vaults and massive pillars. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 27, 1936, addressed to parents in Paris, mentioning a walk on the Champs-Élysées and persistent fatigue. The recipient's address is clearly visible at the bottom right.
