Description

Bronze statue of Mr. Eugène Schneider, founder of the iron industry in Le Creusot, erected in 1878. The work is attributed to the artist Chapu. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Antoine Boutilion in Puteaux (Seine), with a blue 14-centime postmark canceled in Le Creusot on May 14, 1905.
